Something New!

My dear friend Ami has given me a wonderful idea!  She asked me a few days ago if she thought it was possible for me to make flowers out of denim.  So, I had a pair of jeans that were worn out and that I was going to toss.  Well, the nagging artsy girl inside of my brain begged me to save those jeans.  For what, I had no idea.  But thank goodness I did, I now have supplies to try out my flowers!

Well, here's the finished product.  It turned out pretty awesome!  Thanks for the great suggestion Ami.

Kissing Ball

In addition to two wreaths that I am making, I am also currently making a fun decoration that will be perfect for your Christmas party.

I am using fun Christmas paper to make a cute little kissing ball, to the end I will attach some mistletoe made of paper.  This item is available to purchase for $25.  

Finished

I finished my first wreath, and it was so much fun!  I completed it about a week ago for my good friend, and photographer.  She wanted me to make her a Halloween wreath, so I made a super fun and whimsical wreath for her.

Currently, I am working on two Christmas/winter wreaths.  I have them all wrapped with ribbon, and ready to fill with flowers.

Each wreath will be made up on 30 hand-folded flowers.  The green wreath will be a classic Christmas wreath, made up of dark red and green flowers.  The other wreath will have a pepperminty theme, made up of candy cane striped, red, and white flowers.  I'm so excited to go shopping for supplies and get started!

Almost Finished

I've almost completed with the halloween wreath that I am making, and it is turning out so wonderfully!

It is so cute, that I think that I just may have to make a Christmas one for myself!  This wreath has been so much fun to make!
